I recently had my 18 year old horse shipped from TN to MT.

 I was very nervous about this trip because I had never used a shipping company and

my horse had never been out of the state of TN and maybe not even out of the county.

From the first time I contacted Bob and Donna they were very reassuring and sounded extremely knowledgeable. Bob and Donna Barrett are an excellent horse shipping team! 

Every night Donna called to let me know how my horse was doing and where Bob was on the trip.

Bob kept such a close eye on how my horse was traveling

(as far as how much he was eating and drinking and also stress from the traveling).

 I felt like I was getting a report on my 3-year-old's first day at preschool.

Andy arrived in amazing condition!

During a nationwide search for a shipper to move my older Arabian stallion
cross country, I received a bid from Trailhead Trucking/Equine
Transportation. After corresponding with many of the other bidders I chose
the Barrettes not only for their super reasonable quote, but the reassuring
fact that they were lifelong horse folks, bred, raised, trained and trail
rode and knew the horse business inside and out. In short, true horsemen.
I was not disappointed by my choice as Donna is a complete professional
about handling the contact and business end of their organization and
constantly kept me apprised of the imminent pickup, how my horse was
hauling, where they would be each day and an honest and true report of his
condition and behavior each day. I was also given a cell# to speak directly
with Bob as he drove the rig carrying my horse. They did their utmost to
accommodate my schedule and those of the seller's and trainer's and were a
total joy to deal with at every step of the way. I have since recommended
them to many friends and am thrilled to report that their experiences with
the Barrettes were all just as exemplary. They are amazingly punctual, which
is oftentimes quite difficult to achieve whilst matching driving conditions
to each individual's pickup schedule, and, yet, they have always managed to
do so. I am impressed and thoroughly satisfied enough to plan on using them
every time I buy or sell a horse from now on, as are the friends to which I
recommended them. The Barrettes are what horse shipping should be all about.
Safety, quality, knowledge, punctuality, reasonable rates and VERY friendly,
prompt and professional service. What more could one ask?

We've shipped with Donna and Bob and I feel confidant the horses will be managed,
 handled and cared for properly.
Bob is especially good about maintaining communication with the buyer.
That is so important. It's a small chore to attend to and such a big item for the buyer.

I found out about Donna and bob threw my sister which had gave me a colt to be hauled here from Wyoming.
 I new she was going to be a hand full and that she was.
I have the up most respect because they are very good with the horses they haul and they make it home in great condition.
I have all so used them for other horses and I have always been contacted when they would arrive.
I would recommend them for haulers for any horse of any type. I now own one of there horses "Mae Dae"

and I just love her to death what great horses they raise. When Bob pulled up I so excited I just could not wait

to meet my new horse. Wonderful people to work with and great horses that they sell.

 Donna and Bob are the most amazing people to work with.
They both are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to horses.
They kept me informed throughout the trip. My horse had some difficulties during the trip,
but had it not been for Bob and Donna the situation could have turned out very ugly.

Thumbs way up! The professionalism and human-ness of Trailhead Trucking surpassed my expectations in every way.
They were regularly in contact with me right from the start, and ahead of schedule on pick up and delivery.
Their amazing 40' rig was artfully maneuvered by patient driver Bob on the steep little gravel driveway on the delivery end.
 His demeanor with my beloved horses was gentle, kind, but assertive enough to reflect his knowledge and experience.

Bob and Donna Barrett, Trailhead Morgan’s Transportation in our opinion are the best haulers in the Northwest.
We live in the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming and it’s not the easiest task to find a hauler that will haul in and out of our country in the winter.
Bob and Donna live in Wyoming and are accustomed to bad roads and storms.
They have hauled horses for us all the way from Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Montana.
They have hauled horses from 4 months of age to 6 years old for us. They arrive looking like they just came out of the pasture. T
hey book the haul, are on time, easy to get a hold of and always keep you updated.
We never feel like we can’t call Bob when he’s on the road, he takes the calls and genuinely acts like he’s glad to hear from us. 
 Never once has he or Donna acted put out or bothered by our calls which is so refreshing. 
I’ve become good friends with Donna and enjoy speaking with her on the phone. 
 I’ve contacted her on many occasions for her expertise and help during breeding season.
They are absolutely hassle free haulers. They feed high quality hay and the horses are watered regularly.
Bob stops and gives the horses a rest and if need be he unloads them off the trailer. We trust them with our horses.
They are professionals in every way.
We have recommended Bob & Donna to several of our friends and they have been more than pleased with their business transaction with them.
We do not want anyone else hauling our horses except Trailhead Morgan Transportation.
They are horse people first and haulers second!! It is with great pleasure that we highly recommend Bob & Donna to you.
